Wow, I just read the thread on Google and was completely surprised by all the negative reviews!  I haven't been to the store in awhile, but like Karen M., the friendly owner was definitely a draw for me too.  He's always been helpful & informative and even charming...As for the store, it's small but surprisingly clean & stocks some pretty interesting specialty products.

Never felt the need to ever review a place on here, but this is to warn others considering this place. Living on queen west I prefer to frequent local businesses and figured I would pop by the store yesterday with a friend. I've had the interest to stop by there for a while and needed a couple simple staples of espresso, cereal, etc. Granted, I should have read some reviews before I did this.... more
