No Customer Service

I ordered furniture at this store because I was told that it would arrive on Nov. 20th and I needed it for a specific date in Dec. I left a deposit of $2300.00. The furniture did not arrive on time, and after numerous attempts to find out when it would arrive, I was left with nothing. I eventually requested that the store return my deposit, and they simply said no. I would have to wait for the furniture to arrive, whenever that may be. After several attempts to recover my money, the store sent a letter by mail stating that if I did not pick up the furniture(which did eventually arrive 8 weeks later) in the next 10days, they would consider that to mean I wished to forfit my deposit. My husband then went to the store to pay and pick up the furniture only to be threatened by the store clerk. We are at our witts end as to how to proceed. I have not been able to view the furniture as I am told that we are not welcome in the store. We also asked for information regarding where the furniture was made, what type of wood it was, and the warranty information. We were told by the store that they did not consider this our concern and would not provide us with that information. I should also mention that we have had wittness' to all events and have tried to be reasonable when dealing with Objekts. If you value your hard earned dollars, don't waste them at this store. I assure you, you will be sorry.
