A spin on the lifestyle boutique, the shop sells old and new handbags, casual clothes, shoes and cool home accessories. New Evisu bags go for $55 to $90; used records for as little as a buck. Also spotted: Superman-motif flip flops, $15, modern lamps, $65 to $150.
Upscale kitsch Kwai stuff. Not my cup of tea but fun to look at. The downfall is the lack of focus on theme and too many random stuff. You have upscale clothes and jewelry mixed in with kiddie Kitsch stuff. Odd really.
This place has been turned into a weird store with a bunch of tacky stuff. It used to have really good stuff in there. I still pop in there though as you never know what you might find. The staff are always pleasant. I just find it a bit overwhelming with all the cheesy stuff now.
I totally agree with all the comments before me on how the name of the store can be misleading. There isn't a whole lot of "then"s in the store. There are some clothing but hardly memorable. I was just here half an hour ago and I don't remember a single piece of clothing items except that I remember there are items hung on some racks.
However, it is a great place looking for Japanese household... more
