Beware Northland Volkswagen

I got a Jetta on lease 3 months ago and the purchase couldnt have gone better. Everyone was so polite and helpful, I was really impressed. I guess this led me to have high expectations for future contact with the dealership.

As part of the deal I was granted 500 dollars in accessories for the car. I picked what I wanted and not all accessories were available so they had to be ordered in. Thats no problem.

About a month later I got a call from my sales person indicating that my acessories were in and I should pop in and pick them up.

I dropped into the dealership as requested and my sales lady was not working that day. Another sales person went to her desk and looked for any notes relating to the accessories with no luck. He then did a little search around to see if he could find anything with my name on it.

After this he said he would leave a detailed note for my sales person and she would likely get back to me the next day.

Next day no response from her. I work out of town a lot so I was away for the next number of weeks. I then visited the dealership again a few days ago. Once again my sales person was not there so someone else tried to help me. He did another search, talked to a few people and then left a message for my sales person again asking her to get in touch with me.

I phoned the dealership the next day and my salesperson was in however she was busy so I left a message on her voicemail for her to return my call.

Yester day after not receiving any reply I called the dealership again and my salesperson was not due to be in until the afternoon. I asked to speak to the general manager and he assured me that someone would call me back that very day so that I could finally get this thing resolved. I did also indicate that I no longer wanted to speak with my sales lady as she had essentially now destroyed the customer relationship and I had lost all confidence in her.

Guess what, noone called me back and now I dont even have a response today. Even the general manager has no word.

I wanted to buy another Car there as well now I have to go to another dealer.

They can keep the accessories, and I will post this complaint on as many websites as I can as well as sending it to all board members and executives of the company. So 2 months no voicemails no messages nothing. A complete lack of customer service as I already bought the vehicle.
