had a Groupon which had expired shortly before I was at the alley (in Dec 2012). The man working there said he'd honour the Groupon the next month (Jan 2013), so we paid for our bowling that night, and decided to return in January.
I returned last Saturday (Jan 12/13) to the alley with 3 friends who had never been there before. I presented the same man with the Groupon and he told me I couldn't use it. I would have to book ahead and reserve for a Mon - Wed. When I told him he hadn't told me that during my prior visit and I continued standing there looking back at him, he said he'd check with the owner, who was on the phone. He told me a few mins later that what he had said earlier applied. Again, I reminded him that he hadn't told me that before. He just repeated the same thing again and said I could go to Groupon and get my money back - no apology, no thinking outside the box to keep a customer happy .... nothing. Needless to say, they've just lost 4 customers along with any people we may have taken with us to their establishment.
