If you're looking for old fashioned dim sum with the dart experience then this is the place for you. They have all the staples like ha gow, sui mai, chung fun, shrimp rolls. Food is decent for the area (there's no where else to go to in the area unless you go to Lee Wah Heen $$$$$ or treck to chinatown). Very crowded so get there at 11:45 or earlier, esp. if you're a big group.
Somewhere between Chinatown and the lights of Dundas Square lies an all-day dim sum treasure easily overlooked by passersby. Not that I'd blame anyone for missing it... it is, after all, tucked away in a basement space, but there are plenty of neon arrows glowing above the staircase to help you out. Follow 'em down, you'll find friendly service, a huge menu and great chinese at bargain-basement... more
I love going to this restaurant for dim sum whenever I'm in Toronto. There's always a great selection of fresh dim sum. I love their steamed rice roll with filling of beef or shrimp. Spring Rolls are always crispy. Delicious dimsum!
Always nice to find a restaurant serving dim sum all day long, especially when you've travelled almost an hour to get to it. All the different foods we tried were delicious and reasonably priced. Easy to find when using the subway system and there's parking nearby if you're travelling by car.
