The New Brunswick Museum, Canada's oldest continuing museum privides a remarkable introduction to New Brunswick's rich cultural history and diverse natural environment.
The Museum's Exhibition Centre is located in Market Square in histric uptown Saint John, New Brunswick..just a few steps from the Bay of Fundy.
Whale sightings guaranteed in the hall of Great Whales. See the Bay of Fundy tides in action, explore New Brunswick shipbuilding heritage and examine fossils from a unique geological past. Creations of New Brunswick artists, treasures from around the world. in all 15 galleries, and a unique Museum Shop.
Beautiful and unique NB and maritime products, including pottery, jewlery, glass and woodwork, as well as educational toys and local interest books are available at the Museum Shop.

The imposing-looking New Brunswick Museum is a must-stop for anyone seriously curious about this province's natural or cultural history. Collections are displayed on three open floors, an exhaustive mixture of traditional artifacts and quirky objects. May 17, 2012This is a nice museum with good displays, but it's nothing spectacular compared to larger museums in larger centres. Nice gift shop well worth a browse.

Fun but no pics
May 11, 2012This museum was three floors of cool exhibits, artifacts and no memories. By that I mean no photos. Don't get me wrong it was a fun time but I think it could of been better with photos and better staff. Now the staff on the 1st and 3rd floor awesome but the staff on the 2nd floor where like teens... more

Not a whole lot of new exhibits. Have gone 4-5 times since my first trip and the only the displays on the front of the lower level seem to change.
