Unfortunate Experience
Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Nest Interiors over the last few weeks. We moved into the neighbourhood just over a year ago and were looking around at nearby shops to find some new things for our new apartment.
The store had a few interesting pieces and an ok selection of stuff to choose from in their catalogues so we were excited when what seemed to be a great deal became available. We purchased three coupons, one for us and two as gifts.
We went into the store shortly afterwards and realized that pretty much all the merchandise which was valued at under $250 had been removed. I didn't think this was such a big deal, because they had great stuff in their catalogues which we were told we could order from.
Fast forward to about a week ago. Myself and the people I bought the coupons for as gifts had picked out our stuff from the catalogues - only to find out the store has imposed an arbitrary rule after the fact that they will only accept orders for over $500 per coupon, which was never stated in the fine print.
They are regularly closed on Sundays and Mondays, but this week they also closed the store on Friday with no explanation and then again today for "staff training" which would be funny if it wasn't for the fact that they have one staff member who has been there for several months.
With only a couple days before the coupon was set to expire, I was left with three coupons I couldn't use because there isn't enough merchandise in the store to actually use them on, let alone does anyone want that many pillows (which is really the only option).
Poor form on their part. Really poor form and several other people I know have had the same issue.

As the owner of Nest, I'm a bit biased, but we really do have a wonderfully unique and comfortable collection of furniture here. We also offer full design services, and a rotating art gallery from local artists.

It is not surprising that Nest was voted one of Vancouver's best furniture stores. There is a welcoming and calming atmosphere and the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by the carefully chosen art and, furniture pieces of impeccable taste. As well, there is a miriad of accessories, in beautiful earth tones and gorgeous textures. Nest Interiors - a truly beautiful experience.?
