I went today, August 25th to Myrlene Decors in Saint Hubert. The sales lady was really rough.
I went with a friend who was looking for textiles to decorate her babies bedroom and while we were looking to the textiles (as you do in every textile store) this sales lady (who at some point said to say Myrlene, the owner) aggressively approach to us, almost push us and started to wrap again the textiles that we were looking. So far, we thought that she was going to be nice and to ask and help us in our search. But to our surprise when I asked her (in french) about the price and the lenght of the textile, in a very rough tone of voice she answered like this: " 50 dollars, 60x80, and is italian". Since everything was so crowded in the store and she was still wrapping the textiles we had to stand a little far away, waiting for her to finish so my friend could pick up the one that she wanted. While my friend was trying to do this, I ask the sales lady for the price of the other textile rack, but this time in english: so is 50 dollars too, right? And she answered me like this: Don't you understand french? is 50 for this textiles. Since this time she was almost screaming my friend told me very calm in spanish: we better go. While we were taking the path to the exit the sales lady start to yell at us in english. "Get out, you do not have enough money to buy this" Exactly like this.
What is paradoxical is that if the sales lady knew that my friend is a diplomat, would she act different?
So, even If they have nice textiles there, doesn't worth to have to support this kind of unrespectful treatment. Specially when we were very nice, never yell at her and almost very pacient with her rough manners.
For sure I do not recommed to go to this store. If we as customer do not start to complaint about this kind of customer service, things won't change.
