I was pleasantly surprised! It's a beautiful space and a great museum. Wonderful artifacts. The art section is a bit lacking, but we still spent hours looking at everything here.

The Museum of Northern British Columbia is rather small so the number of items on display is limited, however the quality of the Northern Coast pieces that are typically on display is of such high quality that it merits a visit if you are anywhere near Prince Rupert. (Even the original pieces on display in the gift shop, alone, put some major museum gift shops to shame.)
