Great getaway spot
Stayed in January. Great spot for a winter getaway.Cozy rooms, good view of the harbour and helpful friendly staff. Loved it!

“St. John's gem
July 05, 2011Great location for a long weekend getaway. A somewhat quirky, restored boutique hotel that is perfectly situated near all of the George St. activity, shops, restaurants, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff at all times. Only minor complaint was that the bed in our room was pretty small - maybe only a double, but otherwise a great find.

July 03, 2010This place is amazing! It's like staying in a piece of history but with all of these modern comforts. The room was clean and bright. We loved the heated floors and the towel warmers and the whirlpool tubs and all the shower heads in the bathrooms. The rooms have these great fireplaces too. Completely over-rated
June 27, 2010We stayed one night and I will not be seen at this hotel for a second time! The staff were horrible at best for service - I inquired about the air conditioning which wasn't working and all I was told was that they were having problems with the system - not re-assuring that someone was working on it or anything!... more
