The food, as many have said, is average at best, and overpriced. I WOULD have loved their goat cheese dip, it was fabulous, except for the HUGE amount of hot chilis (not mentioned in the description).
As for the hostesses and bar staff, female only, frankly I have seen hookers on the street wearing more clothing. I am no prude but frankly it's completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I even wrote the head office about it and they clearly want their FEMALE staff dressed that way - as they never even bothered to write back!
Lousy cust service from the hostess to the head office. There are TOO many choices of places to eat. Try Canyon creek or almost anything else for better food, service, etc.
It took way to long for us to recieve our food, and it was lacking taste.
When the snob hostesses finally acknowledge your presence infront of their kiosk (I am guessing that it's part of their marketing image, to appear chic and "popular"), then someone else will drag you past 20-30 empty booths to your table on the far side of restaurant. Food is average.
If you want sleek and trendy, try Earl's on the opposite end of the mall.
Moxie's is one of the few restaurant chains I trust with their quality, standard and consistency. The items on the menu are diverse - classic grills, traditional pastas, salads, burgers and some fusion foods. I've had many dishes at Moxie's. They all tasted above average. The flavors are vibrant and flattering. There is definite sense of finesse in the tastes as well. I used to LOVE lamb rack.... more
I enjoyed myself at Moxie's. It has a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and moderately attentive. Our apitizer was really nice (had crab cakes). Beat Red Lobsters version hands down. My main was tasty but honestly not the best version of the dish that I ever had. I had beef vindaloo in some great Indian restaurants. Did I expect Moxie's to match those Indian restaurants. No not at all.... more
