Okay, so this place has been around a long time. You can tell by the state of affairs. But, if you want to stay right in the heart of Banff, it is a compromise. Not that it's bad (it has history on its side!), but if you're looking for something fresh and new, this is not it. For well worn ambience try it out. It was the worst hotel ever; Drunken people shouting, fighting and laughing All the time. You could hear people walking on the top floor The false fire alarm went off for half an hour At 10pm then we were waken up by clock alam at 12.30 It was set as joke or what I don't know There was noise for the whole night; it was like trying To sleep in a pub. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.
