Great prime rib
Overall, they don't deliver the best. But if you are only interested in Prime Rib, then this place will give you a sumptuous, wonderful slice of heaven. Otherwise, it's just above average fare. But, it is a fun time.
Old fashioned
This restaurant is something from my childhood, it's far too old fashioned and lacks the modern flair that makes a restaurant worth going back to.
pretty mediocre
This restaurant isn't top notch in my books. The food was average, the atmosphere is less than dazzling, but the service was friendly so I'll give it that much. Needs an update, feels like it's stuck in the past - atmosphere and the menu.

Long known for roast beef dinners that could rival the spread your grandmother laid out on Sundays, we decided this week to head for brunch at M.T. Tucker's.
A fixture on the downtown dining scene for decades, most Calgarians -- including me -- refer to the eatery as Mother Tucker's, but it's actually been 10 years since that was the case.

September 25, 2010We have been going to Mother Tuckers for than 30 years, since both my wife and I were young. Never have we been so disappointed in a restaurant as we were tonight.We went for our daughters 16th birthday. She chose the restaurant as we have had many a good meal there. September 18, 2010I went tonight for my birthday and found that their Sunday Buffet was simply amazing!!! the server was kind and helpful the buffet was only 21$ person and had more items than I could count everything I tried deserved a 2 thumbs up!plus the fact I didnt have to buy was a bonus

I had booked Easter dinner buffet for myself and three sons. We were seated at the back in the Sports Bar area, where the chairs were not comfortable and decor appalling for Easter. I could not understand why they put us back there when the main dining area was not full at 6:45pm, only for the reason that I was without a male companion and they decided to give the bar waiter a chance for tips.... more
