The Worst Hotel Ever
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms smell of mold, the service is horrible, breakfast is a joke, and the rooms and plumbing are falling apart. Good luck finding the Jacuzzi that is advertised. Do NOT waist your money here.
Motel Belle Riviere was simply terrible!!!
Our stay at Motel Belle Riviere was simply terrible!!! From the minute we arrived the staff were rude, the rooms were shabby and smelly, and breakfast... "Toast". We arrived a bit before check in to pick up an envelope full of tourist info left by a friend. As we tried to ask for the envelope one of the staff repeatedly yelled at us to come back in an hour. After pointing at the envelope and pleading with her to give it us, she stopped yelling long enough to hear us, and with no apologies she handed over the envelope. Later that week our friend dropped by our room for a morning coffee. On her departure the owner of the motel accused us of hiding someone in our room over night and that we would have to pay an extra ten dollars. On top of this we were coldly ordered to wash our own dishes in our kitchenette. If you pay $150 a night, I think this service should be included. All this to say, if you plan to go to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, stay someplace else!!!
