The town of Moose Jaw was founded in 1882 when the Canadian Pacific Railway chose the site for the town, and was incorporated in 1903.
The paper was founded as a weekly with the first issue published on April 2, 1889. In 1904, the paper went semi-weekly and in 1906 the Evening Times was established. In 1920, the Times purchased the Daily News and, three years later, the Times Morning Herald was established. The morning edition was discontinued after a few years and the paper became the Times-Herald.
The Moose Jaw Times-Herald has evolved with its community since it started in 1889 and incorporates a variety of supplements along with the daily newspaper. The Moose Jaw Times-Herald is published daily Monday to Saturday and focuses on community news, with more than half of our editorial content written by our staff. However, we also subscribe to Canadian Press and Saskatchewan News Network. With our Sunday paper - Moose Jaw This Week Sunday Times - we cover the city every day.
We are “online” in more ways then one. We recognise this is the way of the future for our subscribers, advertisers and community and are progressive in the way we incorporate this new media into our business. Everything from E-subscriptions to the digital newspaper, to our newly launched weblocal.ca business directory which you are reading today, moving us all into the new age of media.
Run: 7,182 copies daily (Monday to Saturday, paid circulation)

Best paper in town, definitely worth a read! Beautiful ads (must have very creative graphic designers) and the stories are good. Excellent staff all around, I have never had any problems with them.
