Unique Idea
Neat for a change. You can pick your own meats & veggies and have them cook it in front of you.
Best Restaurant Ever !!!!!!!!
My husband and I took our daughter and her husband out for dinner to the Mongolian Grill in Whitby. This is one of our favourite places to go for dinner. The food is fabulous. You can't go wrong here. They have a menu but we never order from it because they have an all you can eat stirfry. You put what you want in a bowl and all they do is cook it. So you can't go wrong with that because you will always get what you want.
They get 10+ stars. Keep up the great job !!!!!!!!!

You make your own food and pay to be cooked
November 03, 2011So how can anyone review the food of this restaurant when you create our own dish. It is stir fry - but you pick what you want.Fresh that is about the only good thing, but really over priced.

An entertaining novelty with poor service, but quality food.I've been here about 6-8 times now, and always this location, although I am sure their are locations. Mongolian Grill all but cries out that it is a chain restaurant.Like the other reviews explained, you sit, order a drink, have a salad and/or soup, then go fill up a bowl of raw meat, vegetables, sauces and spices before giving it to... more

Novelty
September 29, 2010This is a one time visit kind of restaurant. The pleasure of dining here is all in the novelty of the way it's prepared. The food is mediocre and the sauces all taste the same. Waiting in line is a drawback. If I am eating at a restaurant I would prefer to sit, eat, and enjoy conversation, not wait around like I'm at Canada's Wonderland. Enjoy a visit, savour the novelty if that is your thing.
