2 Vehicles - 2 Awful Experiences
I brought 2 vehicles in to get the brakes done, so let's start there:
Vehicle 1: Brought in the truck to get front brakes replaced, and service was fine for the most part. The story changes when I go my vehicle back...I drove it for a few minutes on the way home, and I knew things didn't feel right. The front left rim was super hot after I got after the vehicle and there was brake dust all over the rim. I called back to the shop and he said a piece of the caliper was stuck and it will loosen off in a matter of a few days. No such luck, all that was happening was I was wearing the pad unevenly, and he "could not" book me in for another few weeks and recommended bringing it elsewhere, I did no such thing because I wanted a new pad put on that side of my vehicle, however he said no it will be fine now that it isn't stuck closed...so really poor service and even worse follow-up service.
Vehicle 2: I had my car in at the same time, and he replaced the front brakes as well. From day 1 they squealed after being replaced. He justified it by saying they are higher-quality pads that will soon "burn off the squeaky layer". 2 weeks passed, and the squeak continued...I moved back to Alberta in the mean time, and months later, they still squeak just as bad, if not worse!
I can understand the first vehicle problem, but the 2nd car with squeaky brakes is absurd, and I would personally like to thank him for screwing me out of $500.

Rude and unhelpful
I wanted to get my oil change and I took time off work. It was 4:22 pm and the owner said that it was almost 5 hinting that he didn't want to assist me. He tried to turn me away by saying they don't specialize in oil changes and that he said he does brake inspections. Big deal, what a horrible first impression. He told me to go somewhere else like a quick oil change place. I don't trust them and I am so disheartened by his rudeness.
