I first started using Mike's Auto about 4 or 5 months ago because they were in the neighborhood and I had heard good things about their service.
Mike works on my personal vehicles and I feel that he is honest with me. He tells me what the problem is and shows me as well. Also, I do not feel that I am being gouged in terms of price.
Everything has turned out better than I expected because my vehicle is always ready on time or ahead of schedule. I have not been used to getting my vehicle back when a shop says it will be ready. Mike's is a great place to go.
Mike always remembers who I am and remembers what my car is, even if it is months since I have been there. The only bad thing, and it could be good or bad thing, is that he only does the work you ask for. He won't go farther than what you say, which could be a good or bad thing. It is guaranteed he will never do more than you ask. I have probably been using Mike's Auto for 10 years. He is quick; I usually get the car in and out in a day, and sometimes he will even do work while I wait. The work is excellent. I have never had a problem with the work he has done.
I have never had a non-positive experience in all the years I have gone there. I have a Volkswagen Jetta with 430 thousand kilometers. They tell me to just keep driving it, and they will keep it running. I have never had a moments grief with the car or with Mike's Auto. They are fabulous. I think they are really honest and straight forward, and they never overcharge.

But Mike's professional and forthright approach to his business takes some of the sting out. I took my car in there and was astounded by the crazy number of cars surrounding the modestly sized service station. ... more
