cooler unit

We ordered a new cooler unit on - line from Mid -City company and paid for it $1013.82 In this year July our technicians opened the box and they noticed that both sides of the cooler were damaged and it was an old used cooler. The box was fine that means Mid city placed an old cooler into the box and sent it to us. We were informed that Hair Air Conditioner manufacture never send used coolers to their customers. Pictures were taken and sent via email to the owner, but no respond. Owner was called several times, it was hard to reach him,he started a dirty game. Finally we had a conversation about this purchase and offered discount. This happened in July. We were waiting for the check, but it didn't come. After several unsuccessful phone calls he continued the dirty game with us again. Finally the check has arrived on Oct. 03/2015 with $25. We asked 20% discount for the level of the damage and used cooler was sent. This discount was based on technicians's experience. The $25 is not enough money to cover the loss of the quality of this cooler unit. This action shows that the owner of Mid City company has no responsibility for his job and he is lack of customer service as well. Please make sure not to use the Mid City when you want to buy or rent cooler. The owner is not a trustful person. Arpad Torok, Cambridge, Ontario
