Eating and Drinking Emporium
Mckibbin's Irish Pub, named after the McKibbin's from Ireland, and located in this historic turn of the century mansion situated at 1426 Bishop Street, quickly developed a reputation as being 'the' Montreal eating and drinking emporium.
Since then, McKibbin's Irish Pubs have flourished and now offer multiple locations throughout the Montreal... more

Established in 2010

McKibbin's on the Main has all the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional village pub. As soon as you walk in you will be surrounded by the very essence of Ireland. The sounds and smell of the pub will immediately transport you to the Emerald Isle. As you walk through the pub you will feel as though you are taking a tour of famous landmarks in Ireland.

Great staff, good beer, excellent food

By far the friendliest Irish pub in town. Best food and good beer. Strongly recommend having a bison burger with fries. You won't regret it.

L'endroit est vraiment bien décoré, on ne se sent plus vraiment sur Saint Laurent... Les burgers sont très bons!

This place is right at the corner of concordia library. It looks and feels very Irish, unlike a lot if "Irish pubs" I've been to here. The food is great-portionwise and tastewise. Not the cheapest option in town, surely but I have had great time there multiple times. The service there remains good and the servers are very nice and hospitable.

McKibbin's is one of the Irish pub institutions in Montreal. It was one of the first Irish pubs my very first local friends brought me in when I moved to Montreal thus my special appreciation for it. They advertised with affection the bison burger back then and the very same bison burger is still as good so many years later. The more advanced version of it comes with aged cheddar and BBQ sauce,... more

This is probably the best pub in montreal hands down. The food is amazing even after midnight. The pub upstairs plays great music and the crowd is young!

You know you have something going when you are voted in as Montreal's top spot to eat for cheap. Crowds come for live entertainment, 18 imported beers on tap, Irish sports on TV and a huge variety of single malt scotches. There is a Monday poker night with a prize auction, a terrace, cigar room, and a lounge with fireplace. Wednesdays, the ladies get to drink for free whereupon things become... more
