This is one of those rare occasions where I'm happy I haven't gotten around to reviewing this place before now. Market 17 is just down the street from my most frequent temporary Calgarian abode and over the years it's kept me in virgin coconut oil and over priced chips. Up until this point it was a solid and enthusiastic four stars.

If you can afford to buy organic, go there and support them at this little lovely local market !
The bread is lovely, the fruits are always fresh and there is even a small cafe with an outdoor patio during the warm season.

Five stars for the service. I stopped by while I was walking my dog. Though dogs aren't welcome inside, the manager was so nice to check on my dog while I was shopping. Unfortunately, my dog whines (chirps) like a high pitch bird when he can't see me. FYI - Market has a rack outside the store so you can park your dog outside in the foyer.
