Marianne's sells lingerie like other reviewers have mentioned, but they also sell some really neat clothing. They carry lines that are more difficult to find in Ottawa like Spanner, Simpli, Neon Buddha, and Bryn Walker. The clothing aesthetic is similar to that of the store Three Wild Women and to some extent J. Michaels - asymmetric cuts, flowy, draped, over-sized buttons, etc.

I've been to Marianne's on many occasions, it was the first place I went to that had over the shoulder boulder holders to fit my nunga nungas....

They specialize in neutral tones and "comfort", which is not what you want when you're 17 and looking for something to fit in your prom dress, but hey, go commando at prom, who cares.

So for us "well endowed" women, it can be super hard to find a good bra in Ottawa. Most stores only carry the popular sizing and if they do have bigger bras they're bulky, old-lady-ish and well, frumpy.

Marianne's is the one place in Ottawa I know I can find my size. I was fitted properly here and finally realized what size I should be wearing - it's changed my life!
