I was fortunate enough to be staying within walking distance of it and passed my mornings with chocolate bread, rich baguettes, amazing croissants and crème brulee, the likes of which I've never found in my home of South Florida, US. The market is full of amazing stands specializing in cheeses, meats, pastries, produce, anything this little foodie could have dreamt up.

Je connais très bien le marché Arwater, puisque j'habite à quelques minutes de marche de l'endroit. Il s'agit d'une marché public, le deuxième en importance à Montréal après le marché Jean-Talon, dont la spécialité est la boucherie. Riche fromagerie assez mal rangée qui cultive l'art de la diversité au prix fort. On y évitera en particulier les "spéciaux" à goûter qui sont parfois à la limite de leur date de consommation et souvent chers pour ce qu'ils sont en réalité. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !
