Not Too Concerned About Customer Satisfaction

We dealt with Brock at "Precision Stone" on McGillvary in Winnipeg. This company also goes by or is associated with "The Marble Factory" on Scurfield & "Precision Granite Works" on Spruce St. In our dealings with Precision Stone/Marble Factory, they were partner/subcontractor for the company we hired - "Nu-Life Kitchens".
The biggest issue with this company was that they drilled a hole for the kitchen faucet in the wrong spot in our new granite countertop . We then spent considerable time trying to find a suitable faucet to fix the major problem they created. And guess what? Not only was no initiative taken to adjust the bill to try to make up for the inconvenience & annoyance, even after we specifically raised this serious error, NOTHING was even considered to reduce the bill to compensate for our aggravation!!

A separate $300 charge for a "return trip to install" a small piece of granite was deducted from the invoice only because I objected to this charge, when all their workers did was carry in the granite & drop it on top of the cupboards. Nothing was done to seal around the back or side of the piece to keep liquid or crumbs from getting down the sides. It was left that way for almost 2 months until they returned to drill another hole to fit new taps to correct the mistake.

In my opinion, "Precision Stone/Marble Factory" did not value or respect me as a customer. There was no gesture of goodwill or any attempt to improve customer satisfaction.There are quite a few companies around the Winnipeg area that carry the same granite, marble and tile,etc. My suggestion is to do your research & make sure you find a company that values you as the customer & makes an attempt to improve customer satisfaction when a problem arises. Buyer beware!!
