My wife and I visited this bar bistro in the heart of Chinatown on recommendation and after initially walking past the understated exterior, we entered to be warmly greeted by Tony the barman who was very friendly and knowledgeable on both the food menu and the drinks list. We went to Mamie Taylor's last night for dinner and left smiling. The service was great and so was the food. We enjoyed the unique take on the Cobb Salad which included port belly and a deep fried crusted hardboiled egg. The Fried Chicken had awesome gravy and biscuits and a crispy battered skin. In the heart of Chinatown, you will find Mamie Taylor's. When you get there, you will see that all of Vancouver's unwanted taxidermy have also made it here.
