Clam strips???
The last time we were there everything was great, but tonight was lackluster. For the most part, they do a good job. Good service, nice staff, good atmosphere and for the most part, good food. But tonight, Meh. Flat pop, a little too much batter on the fish and chips and then the clam strips. DO NOT ORDER THE CLAM STRIPS ! I have been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and have seen my share of hits and misses. But it was without a doubt, the worse representation of anything "clam" I have ever experienced. Worst texture(very hard and chewy) and flavour that reminded me of uncooked, dried out sole. I do not know what type of "clam" they used, but they should throw out the remainder and search around for something edible. Old over cooked squid would have been a step up.. But as I mentioned earlier, they usually do a good job. Just do not order the clam strips.
Best Northside pub in Fredericton
Known for their wings, not a bad spot for bite when near Brookside.
