The art gallery's approximately 1,600 works concentrate on Canadian artists, particularly such Saskatchewan painters as James Henderson and Inglis Sheldon-Williams; contemporary American artists; and 15th- to 19th-century Europeans who are represented with paintings, drawings, and prints.

Aboriginal Group of 7 must see
October 29, 2013

This gallery is small and personal. It has wonderful show space and the two shows that we saw were well done. The aboriginal show was the largest grouping of aboriginal art I have seen in one place. It was very beautiful, moving and informative. We managed to go through it in a little over an hour.

Anyone with an interest in art, and in particular Canadian art, will not want to miss this well-known Regina gallery. Painters including Saskatchewan's own James Henderson are represented here, along with American and European pieces. Touring exhibitions from around the world are often on display here, and educational opportunities abound in the theatre, learning centre and resource centre.... more
