Cheaping out by not replacing valve stems
I spent close to $1,000 for four new winter snow tires and TWO out of the four blew out within the first 30 days! I figured the first one was just ciricumstance so I had it fixed myself, but I was nearly killed the second time, as it happened suddenly while going through the Fraser Canyon in December with my little sons and my wife in the truck. We very nearly went over the edge that day. Ray told me he would replace this tire which was totally ruined, but as time went by he had a wealth of excuses about why he hadnt done anything yet, and two years later I have still not received either a new tire or a credit for it. Two years has now passed. The first year he offered me a replacement tire 'as soon as he got one in' but of course that never happened so I have gone back twice since to get my credit. This year Ray told me that my mother had been in and had informed him I had been running on no air! I almost laughed out loud at that one. Last year he told me I should complain to the truck manufacturer about the stems because they were 'special' and werent supposed to be replaced by tire companies when new tires went on,.but he would give me the new tire anyway. I never got it last year either. I have checked out Ray's bizarre claims and they are all total baloney. So dont believe a word that comes out of this man's mouth! AND DO NOT BUY YOUR TIRES HERE IT COULD BE WORTH YOUR LIFE IF HE SKIMPS ON REPLACING THE VALVE STEMS. If youre on the freeway when it happens or in the Canyon like I was..well, good luck buddy. And also...good luck trying to get any kind of reimbursement out of Ray if youre lucky enough to survive after it happens.
Fair Prices and Fast Service
I have purchased several tires from Ray and I've also had occasion to have repairs done on my trailer tire and a car tire. Every case was met by friendly fast service and always fair prices.
I would highly recommend this business for anyone in need of being treated with respect.
