“Not new, but maturity in style and ambience

I was fortunate to find the Lord Nelson as my place to stay in Halifax. The classic hotel style is very inviting and after having been there, the other, newer hotels of Halifax seem very streamlined. Except that the WiFi internet was an additional charge (while other hotels offer this as free service) there is nothing that I would want to change with the Lord Nelson.

Chambre très petite, salle de bain minable . Chambre vieillotte n'y retournerai plus. Pour un prix inférieur, au Citadel inn j'avais une chambre beaucoup plus spacieuse et moderne.Même chose pour le restaurant. En revanche, le personnel est très convivial et l’hôtel est bien situé au centre ville

Great place to stay in Halifax

The Lord Nelson is a great place to stay in Halifax because it is within walking distance of everything downtown and by the waterfront. The building is uplifted and well appointed with old world charm. The Victory Arms restaurant/bar was a comfortable place to gather with good, affordable food. Overall a great value for what feels like a more expensive stay.
