It would be hard to NOT give this five stars as it was pretty much the only place open within the city walls at 11 PM on a Saturday. Still, the beer selection was good and reasonably priced, there were lots of locals, service was great, and the interior is worth the trip itself. Definitely worth a visit.
Great spot, just off the uber touristy area but still gets it's fair share of tourist foot traffic. So - a great place to people watch! We were naturally drawn by the Unibroue signage, and the fact they had a limited edition Marie-Clarisse wheat bear (yummy!). Like having a drink on your basement if you lives in a 400 yr old castle. Made utterly charming by curved stone ceiling, stacks of wood and the faint whiff of wood smoke from the barmaid stoked fireplace. Good beer selection and an eclectic scotch menu. Eating here didn't seem like a viable option, but we'll be back for another drink.
