From OpenTable:

Old seaside cottage charm and bustling oyster counter. Old world wines and good market French cooking. A great club house feel. Perfect for gin tonic fueled evenings with relatives, friends, lovers and/or Peter Hoffer (aka "The HOFF").

This restaurant was good, but not as fantastic as I had expected based on the hype and the reviews. We ordered the lobster spaghetti and I thought it was too heavy, laden with too much cream and butter. Seriously, bring your stretchy pants if you order this dish. Portions are huge and this dish is very caloric.
The fried Brussel sprouts were really tasty. My... more

Located not far from the colourful Atwater Market, this is an Old Montreal restaurant classic in the heart of Little Burgundy. An homage to Charles "Joe-Beef" McKiernan, 19th century innkeeper and Montreal working class hero, the restaurant serves steaks and seafood and prides itself on its fresh market products. Also included is an oyster-bar and a menu that changes every day. Last year,... more
