Came here during a visit to the Taste of Little Italy street festival looking for a place to eat. We had the roasted veg grilled panini, an ice coffee for a total of $9.93. The grilled panini tasted great but the bread was too hard. The ice coffee was great, no bitterness at all. Lots of space which is great... more
Awesome place! Delicious coffee, helpful and easy going staff, a cool space and lovely washrooms (most public washrooms fReak me out!). Never had a cortado before this place, and it's all I can think of now. Bravo.
Other than the fact that I enjoyed a really good latte here this afternoon, the place struck me as pretty ho-hum, and not the kind of joint I'd spend an afternoon slurping away my afternoon. Still, good for a drop-in if you're in need of a fix.To be fair, the interior isn't bad. It's just not great either. Lit Espresso Bar’s second location makes its home in Little Italy. Lit has classically trained baristas working with a roaster from Brooklyn, New York called Stumptown. The coffee shop’s menu includes panini, flaky croissants, muffins and pastries to go along with the brews.
