I made the mistake of suggesting this motel to my in-laws to be

So we go to the counter and the desk clerk insists on speaking to them in French....they don't understand a word she is saying. Finally we get the key and find the room. It smelt like several small animals had died and were rotting in the walls....ok seriously, I don't know what it was, but it was bad.
