Lido is by no means an authentic Chinese restaurant. Head down to Chinatown if that's what you are looking for. That said, Lido offers tasty "fake" Chinese food for non-Chinese like ginger beef, egg foo yung, fried rice, sweet and sour pork (this is actually a legitimate Chinese dish), etc. It is a fun place to experience the history of Kensington.

The menu features all the classics (clubhouse sandwiches, roast turkey dinners, liver and onions, pork chops) as well as some Chinese dishes, and prices are very low. You can get a big... more
