Elegant , great venue for a wedding.
Great location and the ambiance inside and out is amazing.
Amazing Event
My cousin had his wedding at the Liberty Grand last year and it was amazing. The entire event was extravagant and luxurious. The Liberty Grand is the ideal place to hold a special event because of the amazing knowledgeable and friendly staff and the beautiful venue. I had a lot of family fly in from South Africa and they were all very impressed with the venue and service as well. If your planning a special event check out the liberty grand

Wedding: Excellent food
Went here for a wedding in Govenor's hall. Separate entrance for wedding (excellent), upstairs balcony for cocktails. Quality of food was excellent. The steak was medium rare, fish was perfectly cooked and veggies were al dente. Valet parking too. The hosts went all out. Highly recommend this venue for a wedding, especially if you want to spoil your guests.
MENU: cocktails (lobster puff, mini spring rolls, shrimp skewer, bacon wrapped scallops & more.
Dinner:antipasto plate with proscuitto/melon, risotto, NY sirloin & black cod (heavenly), seafood platter, dessert bar

If you choose this for your wedding venue, you want opulence and a sense of grandeur. What makes it so, is the high vaulting ceilings, fireplaces and marble floors. It's classy, sophisticated and has an air of extravagance.
Was here for my friends wedding on a cold October weekend. It's not the most easily accessible by public transit because after you get off the bus/streetcar...

I've been to the liberty grand for two weddings and a social now, and i thought it deserves a positive review.
Timing is everything and they get it right. This is ensuring the food is served exactly when it's supposed to, making sure the food is cooked for the exact time it's needed, offering guests validated parking to ensure they're on time.
