"Incredibly inventive, masterfully prepared" Asian-Med "small plates" "sing" at celeb chef Susur Lee's "hip" King Wester where "large groups" come "prepared to share"; "smooth" servers work the "hip" contemporary space, and though "prices could be more reasonable", the "unreal" quality makes it "worth every penny"; P.S. the attached lounge offers the full dinner menu.

Yes, as in Susur's last name. Since the closing of his successor, first name, Susur, Lee offers a casual vibrancy without sacrificing the food quality gastronomes commute for. Plates are best shared with your cool and fun colleagues amongst the backlit screens of chickadees and bright pink fushia walls. Bright pink fluffy cushions that you can share with your date on the patio can be seen from... more

Got a seat on the inside very quickly (originally reserved the patio) right by the bathroom staircase but didn't mind.

The place is pretty... more

First of all, if you are expecting a restaurant that is going to bring you giant, over-sized platters of food with sides like fries and cesar salads, go to Montana's and save your money. Lee is not that type of place. This is gastronomy at its finest, and Susur Lee is an internationally known chef that we are... more

Came here on a date and oh my god the food was delicious. The famous slaw of course and jerk ribs and tuna were the plates we ordered. Amazing patio seat to watch the king west beautiful people passing. Seats have this raised part of the table where you can put your drinks but can also make a difficult and awkward on a date as its a bit of a high barrier. I liked that there were cushions on the... more

Susur Lee’s stylish King West Asian fusion restaurant features French influences, low lighting and internationally-inspired cocktails. Adjoining Lee Restaurant is Lee Lounge, a ‘gastro-club’ run by Lee’s sons, Kai and Levi.
