A very old place typical of the 50's in Montreal

I usedto go there when I was. Kid in the late 50's...glad to see that t.he place has not changed , same pizza, same smoked meat..I have to say that this is probably the best place in Montreal for the smoked meat, always good always the way you want it...much better than other places where most of the tourists go..this... more

All I can say it's that it's convenient. That's its main attribute. It's open very late, it delivers, it's cheap and supposedly the smoked meat is good (never tried it, but hey, the name says it all right?).

But the poutine is bad. It tastes like frozen fries undercooked, the gravy is just nasty but I must admit the cheese curds are big, but not generous enough. So that makes for a bad... more

As long as you lower expectations, things should be fine.
