Unexpected treasure
May 17, 2012We walked in off the street on a Friday night, and were amazed at the food we found! Everything was delicious, wines excellent. We had duck and paparadelle with tiger shrimp. Seafood lovers - this is your place

Our final night in Montreal was dinner with my 6 year old daughter (avid seafood lover) and my mother in law. We chose Le Pois Penche because of the seafood platter.

A paris style bistro in the heart of the city
March 03, 2012This restaurant has its plusses and minuses. The sidewalk dining can be fun, but the whole atmosphere is a bit overstated. Great food though. It does not disappoint.

L'avis d'un groupe de 30 personnes (amies et amis de ma soeur) était unanime, nous nous sommes tous fait anarqué. En moyenne $120/personnes pour un service mediocre et une nourriture qui frôle le ridicule. Vaut mieux aller manger au McDonnald. Si vous voulez gacher une fête, aller à ce restaurent, vous ne prendrai certainement pas du poids et il vont tous faire pour soutirez votre argent pour... more

J'ai personellement apprrécié ce nouveau restaurant. La nourriture est très bonne. Le décor antique est très intéressant et très réussi (nottament le merveilleux mobilier et l'immense cadre sur la façade extérieur). Pour ce qui est des vins, la carte est correct. Le seul point négatif est la grosseur des portions vs. les prix demandés.. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !
