We liked the time line of Ladysmith's history and we found out that the largest maple leaf was found here!
As newer residents of Ladysmith we took in the museum on First Ave. not expecting much, since the community was formed around coal mining and the timber industry. What we found was a very well set-up representation of Ladysmith life back in 1903-20. Very nice presentation of artifacts, local residents educated in the museum contents available for a tour.
