Great beer
22 juillet 2014I've been to Le Cheval Blanc twice and enjoyed the beers each time. Last time I drank the amber and the blonde. Both were enjoyable.

Could be a great place
22 novembre 2013They had great beer but the service was horrible. Bartender ignored us and we sat with empty glasses for 5 minutes at a time. He seemed to be more into his laptop and his own beers than the guests beers. Its sad to say but when we spoke english his attitude changed towards us?? When we paid he didnt even... plus

This legendary brewpub features a fairly bohemian, chrome-tinged décor unusual for the genre. With no pub grub or wood panelling to distract customers, the focus is on the dozen or so Cheval Blanc beers on tap, which are listed on a blackboard only barely visible through plumes of cigarette smoke. The overall effect is surprisingly charming and attracts one of Montreal's most diverse crowds.... plus

This pub has been unchanged for more than half a century and brews its own beer on site. A great place to listen to the latest music and discuss art, philosophy or politics.
