Dim Sum during lunch hours and a la carte during dinner time
February 14, 2013

I like dim sum in Chinatown and Brossard locations, however for dinner, I like to go all the way to the Southshore on Taschereau one. I was always disappointed by the general Tao chicken elsewhere, but here, they make the best general Tao chicken ever! Also their simply steamed sea-bass or other fish so delicious!

Curious Phenomenon, Good Dim Sung
February 12, 2013

I am a frequent lunchtime visitor for their Dim Sung. It is inexpensive, tasty, varied and served cleanly. The noon dining room is always pretty full and a somewhat animated and noisy but that does not get in the way of conversation. It is a very informal approach to a chinese lunch. The downside is their washroom, situated outside the... more

Once again Kam Fung does not disappoint
January 21, 2013

Our two hour drive from Burlington VT, to La Maison Kam Fung was worth the trip. We are never disappointed when we have Dim Sum at Kam Fung. This past Sunday was no exception. The five of us agreed it was likely the best we had ever had. The atmosphere is hectic, the wait can be long, service can be... more

Indiscret... more

la carte de La Maison Kam Fung propose des mets cantonnais et szechuannais. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

The best Dim Sum in Monreal. On weekends however the wait can be painfully long but overall the food is terrific and authentic enough.

October 30, 2010

This is the most highly regarded casual Chinese restaurant in Montreal; Kam Fung draws with Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine and a pleasing if rather utilitarian décor. Peking Duck is the house specialty, and is available without advance order,a point of institutional pride. It is just as well known for its dim sum; an enormous selection of dumplings, many filled with the same fresh seafood you... more
