August 06, 2010Went during Greek festival. But no excuse for bad service and confused uncoordinated waiters and the fact that it took us half hour to get a dam beer and rbv. WTF? Kokkino Restaurant stingy and overpriced
December 22, 2009the Kokkino Restaurant is pretending to be a fancy and high end type of restaurant, with high prices and nice decor, but fails to meet the expectation on this category. The amount of food served is redicilously small, you can feed a toddler with this amount. And you end up spending easy $30-$40 and get out of there hungry. Not exactly a rocking good time, but decent eats nonetheless
November 14, 2007My dad volunteered to take me and my boyfriend out for dinner, and I was given the dangerous decision of deciding where to go. After searching n49 for restaurants on the Danforth, I settled on Kokkino (mostly because I read they were just on "Restaurant Makeover" and I wanted to check out the new digs). The spacious Danforth Street restaurant and lounge has a lively atmosphere and a contemporary Mediterranean tapas menu designed by exec chef Lynn Crawford. Intimate and elegant, the Greektown space serves an array of pastas, meat, seafood dishes, with an extensive cocktail and martini list.
