Scam

I engaged Knox to add ventilation to our attic after they had insulated it to R60. I was provided with an estimate, but when the crew showed up all they did was top up the insulation that was already there. They claimed they didn't have the material or time to deal with the ventilation and insisted I pay them $850 and that they would come back to finish the work. I was home alone (female) and asked to call the office to get confirmation since the job that was scheduled was for the ventilation. They didn't want to do this and when I called the office, I was told to pay them and not to worry. They took the money and never called or came back to do the ventilation.
