Slow service but good food and beer
Went for lunch with my friend yesterday; the food is always good (the smoked salmon plate is awesome) and the White Tail Cream Ale is great.
Service on the other hand wasn't the best this time. We had a male server and though pleasant and friendly, he wasn't terribly attentive.
They raised their prices a little but everything is still reasonable, especially for the quality and portion size of the food.
Will definitely be back. I love sitting out on the patio when it's nice out, and when it's not, I dig the cozy pub-ish atmosphere of the dining room.

Peer through the window behind the bar at the huge brewing tanks in this, one of Ontario's first microbrew pubs. Beer, ales, and a pleasant lager are produced here, the best known of which is Dragon's Breath Ale -- so rich it's almost syrupy. Patio time on a weekday afternoon. Steady, but not uncomfortably busy. Two different patios to be had, one on the street front, the other in an interior courtyard. Big beer selection of in-house stuff alongside a big bunch of other Ontario breweries. Fascinatingly kitschy interior decked out in an insane array of brewery memorabilia with the odd bit of pop culture tossed in. Properly attended... more

A perfect lunch stop between Toronto and Montreal. Always get the Dragon's Breath cask ale although now they have a good range of Ontario craft ale. The wings are justly famous.
