Delicious but a bit h@!%!*n the wallet
July 25, 2014Some innovative offerings here. The pork belly and the tomago starters were very fine - almost did not need to eat anything else. Sashimi was standard fare. One exception - the sockeye salmon was exceptional. Sushi maki - spicy salmon and hamachi were good - standard and tasty. Some of us could eat no more, but a couple of others... more

Decoration apparently noble and fancy.
Which is really not.
The food:
I have eaten sushi in many countries worldwide at different places from ordinary to real noble restaurants.
The quality at Ki Modern is very average.
Nothing special nor exceptional which you would expect at this price range.

We were a group of three here for lunch. Service is prompt and attentive.
Our table ordered:
Seven Spice Chicken Drummettes
Glazed Yakitori Chicken & Leeks
Tempura Butterfish maki
Pan seared Halibut
Garlic fried rice
One of the burgers (Ki Burger I think)
Everything was plated nicely and tasted delicious. The Garlic Fried Rice could have used a bit more...
