Big amenities - small hotel
May 11, 2012This hotel sits riverside just across the river from downtown Calgary. Great view of downtown and away from the busy streets. Complimentary coffee or juice along with the paper were delivered each morning without requiring me to answer the door. A nice tray with the coffee in a thermos and condiments were left for me to retrieve at my convenience.... more

I have stayed here several times - most recently for a night last week. This is the best boutique property in Alberta, and the best I've encountered in Canada. It has become my regular stop in Calgary, despite the fact that I'm a Fairmont Platinum member.
The property is small - 20 or so rooms, and has more the feeling...
