A Great Getaway

We spent a week at Jocko's in August in one of the chalets. It was an awesome experience. The hosts are polite and helpful but at the same time keep a low profile. The lake is beautiful and the fishing and boating are great. The chalet has all the amenities - all we needed to bring was food and clothes.... more

We needed a place to stay near a friend's cottage in Calabogie so I called Jocko's Beach Resort. Spartan but beautiful lake location

Good location, very clean, well-equipped kitchenette. Beautiful lake view and nice little beach. Polite hosts but very low profile, as was the maid. However, a little pricey for what you get. It was super sleeping with the windows open in September, a cool lake breeze, the smell of a campfire wafting through the windows.
