Amazing Food
This place has really good food. I've had it a couple times now for lunch and each time I really enjoyed the food. There is only one issue with this place. The service is extremely slow. I went with a group of people and none of us got our food at the same time. Raa would be so much better if the service improved.

Had a great lunch there yesterday. Enjoyed every aspect of the experience from the entrance to the bill and everything in between. Great food.

The food at RAA Uptown Japanese was really good! I had the sashimi lunch and it just melted in my mouth. The only negative is the service. My starter salad came out AFTER my main course and we had to wait a REALLY long time for the check, which we asked to split, but it was combined. I know this place just opened so I'm willing to give it another shot just because the food is soooo good and FRESH!

March 06, 2012I tried this place a year ago, when it first opened, nothing impressive other than the priciness of the bill. But I tried it recently with some friends cuz I guess they're doing hot pot now....pretty decent. Given that there isn't another hot pot place that I know of in the Yonge + Sheppard area, I'd go back. 6.5/10 in my books !

Hubby was impressed - this means we're coming back. Yay! This means a) the food was excellent and b) the portions were sizeable enough that he couldn't complain. We had a four course teambuy deal with another couple that was definitely worth the buy.Salad with avocado - good size, with tasty dressing that didn't overpower the salad.
