Absolutely appalling service!!!
In fact I have never been to a restaurant and been treated so poorly.
My parents rave about this restaurant all the time and are true regulars, who are happy to take friends and family to enjoy what they believe is the best food.
Its unfortunate that I didn't even have an opportunity to try that food, as I was never seated - after waiting an hour and twenty minutes!
Its usually a good sign to see that a restaurant has a solid line-up...but when you realize that the line-up is as a result of terrible mismanagement and beyond poor service, that is a different story.
My table of seven waited over an hour watching other people being seated ahead of us. Trying to be understanding - because we were a big group - we waited patiently. Until we witnessed three different opportunities pass when we could have been seated but the "manager" in the front continuously refused to allow us to sit.
His attitude was rude and uncaring, even though several other groups around us were just as upset about the ridiculously slow and rude service.
I don't know any manager of any restaurant who can be so disgusting to his patrons, and who can care so little about making people wait over an hour, when there were several chance to seat us and make us comfortable.
I don't care how good the food is supposed to be. I will never go near that restaurant again, and will be more than happy to describe to others the kind of service and attitude they will receive when they arrive.

Went tonight with a group of girls. Friday nights are packed. Order the butter chicken and had to send it back cause it was not true india way and it was reheated rice, so I got some thing else. When that came it was very hot.
I would not go back.

This is a much smaller restaurant, but the food is fantastic. When you think Grille think of Jakes. It's one of the better places to eat for that style of food.

If you are looking for a patio to hit up during the summer season, Jake's is the place to be. They have a pretty large patio looking onto Main St. Unionville, which is pretty busy during the warmer seasons.
